For Heritage Week 2026, enjoy a 60-minute guided tour of the interiors of Birr Castle, including the Library, Dining Room and more!
Visitors are welcomed to one of Ireland’s most intriguing destinations, steeped in scientific achievements and home to the remarkable Parsons family for 400 years. This rare opportunity brings visitors inside the castle to explore the magnificent interiors of five main reception rooms with their exquisite craftsmanship.
Each tour is guided and lasts 60 minutes.
Limited spaces – 15 visitors per tour. Pre-booking is essential.
Not suitable for children under 12 years or those with pets (cats, dogs etc.)
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your booked tour time to allow time for entry process and to know start location of your tour.
*Please note the castle is a listed property with many steps, unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible.
