The Castle is still a private family home and is only accessible with a seasonal guided tour. Prebooking is required.
The general admission ticket includes access to; 120 acres of parklands & gardens, 7-gallery Science Centre, playground, The Great Telescope, iLOFAR, 5000 species of plants & trees and 10km of walking trails.
We do not have on-site parking. We rely on the public car park beside the Marian Hall or alternatively there is street parking outside the Demesne’s walls.
Dogs are most welcome in the Demesne, However they must remain on a short lease at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the Science Centre or the playground. There are dog poop bags available at reception to clean up after your dog.
